Travel & regional exceptions Generally included – a few clearly stated exceptions
Travel is generally included in the stated on-site hourly rate at ComputerHilfe.city. Selected newly approved service areas in southern Thuringia, northern Bavaria and neighbouring regions are an exception. In these areas, a regional on-site service provider travels from outside the respective destination. A one-time distance-based travel charge therefore applies per on-site appointment. It covers the additional actual travel effort, particularly travel time, vehicle operating costs and fuel, and is stated transparently before the appointment is confirmed.

The charge applies only once per on-site appointment, not per hour. Remote support is not affected. The exact service address is decisive, and the charge is confirmed when the appointment is arranged.
How costs are calculated
Remote support is billed in clear 15-minute units, so you pay only for the support time actually required. For an on-site appointment, the first hour is always billed in full. Any additional service time is then billed transparently in 15-minute units. Travel is generally included in the hourly rate; only clearly marked location pages show an additional one-time regional travel charge.
Before work begins, we clarify the issue, the requested scope and the most suitable route – remote assistance or, where available, on-site service. Additional hardware, replacement parts or paid software are used only after prior agreement.
Which services are available?
The rates apply, among other things, to PC help, Mac® support, email and Office setup, Wi-Fi and printer issues, backups, malware analysis, system optimisation, device changes and general IT support. For larger projects, you receive an individual assessment.

Are there hidden flat fees?
No. Time, rate and possible additional costs are discussed transparently. Hardware, licences or third-party services are not automatically included in the labour rate.
Does the on-site rate apply everywhere?
On-site service is available only in the regions explicitly shown. Each location page clearly states whether on-site appointments are offered. At the few locations with a regional travel charge, it is shown directly alongside the on-site price.
Which customer category should I choose?
The private rate applies to personal and family use. The business rate applies to self-employed professionals, practices, law firms, offices, organisations and companies of every size.
